The Boston Book Festival

Everyone at IPNE is excited to host a collaborative exhibit at the Boston Book Festival (BBF) for our 3rd year in a row! What's even more terrific is that even though self-publishers are not allowed as solo exhibitors, IPNE can represent small publishers and author-publishers at this important event.

Bonus Member Benefit!

IPNE members who register for two of the "Big 3" fall book shows (NELA, NEIBA, and the BBF) will receive a 10% refund on their combined basic exhibiting fees (exclusive of add-ons).

About the Boston Book Festival

The Boston Book Festival, now in its 7th year, is the largest literary event in New England. On October 24, rain or shine, Copley Square will be teeming with world-renowned authors and other luminaries, agents, workshops and events, exhibitors, live music, booksellers and book signings, activities and presentations for children. According to the BBF, 25,000 readers are expected to visit this year!

About the IPNE Exhibit

We are offering on a first-come/first served, limited basis, a special space where IPNE member authors & publishers can 1) display a book with promo & ordering information; and/or 2) reserve a block of time for a "Sign & Sell" session.

Because the BBF is so well attended by a concentrated crowd of readers, we offer this special opportunity to sell your books directly to the public and interact with your readers. We are providing three sessions per hour between the hours of 10 am and 3 pm. We will try to accommodate your preferences, but final scheduling is at the show manager's discretion.

Fees range from $40 for exhibiting one book, with pro-rated fees for two and three books. Non-members pay $90 for exhibiting one book and receive an automatic one-year IPNE membership with their registration. Space is limited to for the Sign & Sell add-on option ($25).

Registration is all online, and first-come, first-served. It's important to register early to claim one of the limited number of Sign & Sell and exhibit spots. Once registered, we will follow up with information about setup, sales, volunteering, and other details. Email talktous@ipne.org if you have questions. NOTE: You must be an IPNE member to exhibit with IPNE at the BBF. If you're not a member, choose the option to join and exhibit for $90. Members of affiliated organizations may register as IPNE members.
