Sell Your Books at the
Boston Book Festival
IPNE has been accepted to have a booth at the Boston Book Festival at Copley Square, October 15. Here's your chance to display and sell your books on the spot directly to the public. The expected audience is in the tens of thousands.
The Boston Book Festival, now in its third year, is the largest literary event in New England. On October 15, Copley Square will be alive with more than 100 world-renowned authors and thought leaders, workshops and participatory events like Writer Idol and Flash Fiction, exhibitors, live music, booksellers and book signings, activities and presentations for children, and delicious food. Whatever your interests, they've got it: fiction, history, memoir, science, food writing, sports writing, crime fiction, the environment, graphic novels, super kids’ events, and more!
Normally self-publishers don’t have an opportunity to participate in this festival, but through the auspices of IPNE, here’s a chance to showcase your titles. Here's how YOU can participate.
• Come join us in Boston. Bring your books at setup, staff a shift at the booth, and take home your unsold books at the end of the day.
• Members can display their first two titles for $20.00 each. Each title thereafter will be $15 each. These fees help defer the cost of the exhibit booth.
• If you don't attend, we will need a minimum of two and maximum of five copies of each book you enter. Any unsold books not picked up will be donated to a library or literacy campaign. Alternatively, if you’d like one of the IPNE staffers to take home one of your books in return for posting a review on Amazon.com or other book-related web sites, that could be arranged.
• For $10.00 you can display your postcard-sized marketing material.
DON'T WAIT – go to the IPNE web site and follow the links for registering. Once registered, we will follow up with information about setup, volunteering at the booth and other details.
