Display and Sell Your Books at "Bookstock" July 28

Prime display slots for individual titles available.

Saturday, July 28, is the date for Woodstock, Vermont’s fourth annual “Bookstock: the Green Mountain Festival of Words.” Woodstock has a large summer population and is a destination town for many vacationers, so a fairly good-sized crowd will attend.

This is another  IPNE event that highlights the opportunity to sell your books direct to the public.

The festival will run all weekend at various venues around town, but the books exhibit will be held on Saturday only, from 10 AM to 5 PM, under a large tent on the village green.

Bookstock will include appearances by about 20 authors, two second-hand book sales, outdoor music performances, as well as exhibit tables for publishers and others involved in books and bookselling. Last year, the IPNE tables had a lot of traffic and several members successfully sold books.

Here’s how IPNE friends can participate:

IPNE MEMBERS:

Option 1. You can pay $125 and have a two-foot wide strip on a table to display and sell your books. You should plan to be at the show if you choose this option

Options 2, 3, and 4
.
You can pay $25 per book to display your books and offer them for sale. Members in attendance will collect money from any books sold and send you the proceeds if you are not there yourself.

We will also contact local bookstores, ask them to stock your books, and if you provide promotional material we'll insure they get a copy.  If you do not attend, you may send your books in advance.

Books and promotional information,  should be sent to Jack Crowl of Thistle Hill Publications, who is coordinating the show for IPNE. At the end of the show, IPNE will forward to you the proceeds of any sales, and all remaining books will be donated to a local charitable organization.
