Book #2 Description
Peeragogy is a collection of techniques for collaborative learning and collaborative work. By identifying and implementing effective patterns for working together, we hope to leave the world in a better state than it was when we arrived.

Indeed, humans have always shared knowledge with each other. But for a long time, until the advent of the web and widespread access to digital media, traditional systems have effectively monopolized the pursuit of learning.

Now, with access to open educational resources and free or inexpensive communication platforms, groups of people can learn together outside as well as inside of formal institutions.

These developments prompted us to reconsider the meaning of “peer learning” and to co-create the
Peeragogy Handbook.

“Howard Rheingold and a great team of collaborators have preceded the rest of humanity in exploring the new dynamics of technologically-enhanced peer learning.” Michel Bauwens, Foundation for Peer-to-Peer Alternatives

Book #4 Description
Take your children on a grand adventure to meet ten famous authors! The book introduces young readers to great works of literature. By celebrating a diverse group of great writers, the book paves the way for a lifetime of appreciating classic books.
Young readers will climb the hilly streets of Sui Sin Far’s San Francisco, board a plane to Taha Hussein’s Egyptian village, and chase a cocker spaniel through the streets of Virginia Woolf’s London. They will search the seas for Herman Melville’s white whale, dance to the blues in Langston Hughes’s Harlem, and ride a horse-drawn carriage through Edith Wharton’s Central Park. They’ll listen to a woodpecker in Emily Dickinson’s poetry, and hike around Walden Pond with Thoreau. Along the way, Zitkála-Ša tells the story of a talented girl who leaves her reservation to start a new school; María Amparo Ruiz de Burton describes a brave young woman who travels across the country in a covered wagon; and Hussein writes about how being blind challenged him to use his imagination.
The book includes a “Become An Author” activity page, plus a section for parents and educators featuring background information for each author and suggested topics to spark discussion with children. The author’s website, SheilaCordner.com, provides frequently updated resources and engaging activities for young readers.
