I’ve been coordinating and managing the book awards program since 2022, with the goal of raising awareness of, and esteem for, the program. This, in turn, means a more streamlined submissions process, a tighter and more consistent judging process, improved materials, and so on.
In my non-IPNE life, I'm a developmental editor, a line editor, and a book coach. I work with short- and long-form narrative nonfiction, with flash and short fiction, and increasingly with novels as well. I also judge fiction and nonfiction through other awards programs, and I've been an editorial reviewer of the same.
