IPNE is pleased to offer this limited members-only opportunity to exhibit, sign, and sell your books at Town Day in historic Arlington, Massachusetts. This festival attracts thousands of visitors to Massachusetts Avenue between Pleasant St./Route 60 and Jason Street.

Exhibitors should bring their books to the exhibit by 9 am. If you take a break or leave the event, you can make arrangements with a friend to handle your sales and retrieve your books.

Unless retrieved by the author or publisher, leftover books will be donated to nearby Robbins Library.,

      • So your books may be listed in IPNE's Town Day show catalog, please make sure your is up-to-date and contains the information for each title you're exhibiting.
      •  We cannot guarantee inclusion if we receive the information after Sept. 1.

      New England Independent
      Booksellers Association (NEIBA)

IPNE@NEIBA Exhibit Registration Is Now Open!

Who do we love? Independent bookstores - and they love us right back!

New England is a hotbed of indie bookstores, and they're experiencing a revival, thanks to the efforts of their loyal customers, bookseller members, and the staff of NEIBA. At IPNE, we know many of these booksellers and engage with them throughout the year.

We invite you to come and be a part of it all at our cooperative exhibit at this year's Sept. 21-23 show, featuring events like the publisher's rep "Pick-Nic," educational panels, a vast exhibit hall where you can meet upwards of 500 bookstore buyers, agents, publishers, distributors, designers, and other professionals in the industry.

Use #IPNEatNEIBA on social media for a chance to win a free exhibit spot!

Please scroll down to read EXHIBIT GUIDELINES and expect followup emails with exhibit details.

      Why Exhibit with IPNE@NEIBA?

      • Huge Savings: Join IPNE's collaborative exhibit and save about $500 off NEIBA individual exhibitor rates. Enjoy prominent display of your titles on the IPNE exhibit table. You must be present to represent physical books; or you can list your titles in the show catalog.
      • Free Catalog Insert: The catalog will be distributed to all exhibit visitors by exhibiting IPNE members. We recommend exhibitors include a trackable special offer on their sales sheet for bookstores who order at NEIBA.
      • Indies Helping Indies: IPNE will promote your NEIBA exhibited books, signings, offers, and events via social media, on our live-streaming program, the IPNE website, and at live regional events before and during the conference. When you post on or on Facebook, Google+, Instagram, and/or Twitter about your NEIBA exhibit and tag #IPNEatNEIBA, we'll amplify it!
      • Participate & Learn! IPNE exhibitors can attend, network, sign books, and participate in the educational sessions at the conference. NEIBA also offers educational and social events on all three days of the conference.
      • Volunteers: IPNE volunteers get a free badge and IPNE business cards, plus a unique chance to observe and interact with booksellers, agents, and reps. Volunteer space is limited; please email the coordinator by Sept. 1 and wait for confirmation.
      • Pick-Nic Luncheon: Arguably the best deal at NEIBA. the Publishers Pick-Nic sees our IPNE representative will present your book to leading booksellers and sales reps in a "speed dating" style event. Space is limited to 6 books total, and one per registrant, so sign up early using the "Pick-Nic" in the "Extras" on the registration form.

      Additional Opportunities Through NEIBA

NEIBA offers several special events, including separately promoted autographing sessions, breakfasts, luncheons, and banquets throughout the conference. There are also free and paid educational sessions. Register on the NEIBA website.

PLEASE NOTE: NEIBA is open to IPNE vendor, publisher, and partner members. Registration and payment is online only. Exhibited books must meet our curation guidelines.
